The Inspiration of Sue and Dave Saunders, Saffy is the place to strut to from the famous designers of Rodo from Italy to Robert Clergerie from Paris, you are spoilt for choice. Connoisseurs of fine shoes will also recognise names like Jaime and Ursula Mascaro and Pons Quintana from Menorca, and Betty Barclay, she makes footwear to compliment her clothes.

Saffy also sells jewellery from award winning Hot Diamonds, designer hand bags, ferre umbrellas and parasols and terrifically original Tickety-Boo tiaras made with semi-precious stones by local Stratford designer Victoria Smith. Another exclusive find are hats from Victoria Ann, London. In fact, since the idea of the shop first took root some 18 months ago, Sue and Dave have made it their business to secure some of the finest and funkiest names around. The result is an ab-fab designer shop with something to accomodate all taste and purses.

"I think we have got a diverse range" explains Dave."We've tried not to be exclusive as people can feel intimidated and we have noted how some shops are becoming too single minded. We were determined that when we opened, we'd have a good classic range, but also offer people an alternative"
